The Prysmian PRYSUN H1Z2Z2-K TWIN 2×4mm² Solar Cable is a high-quality photovoltaic cable designed for reliable electrical connections within solar PV power supply systems. Manufactured by Prysmian New Zealand Ltd, this cable is designed and tested to EN 50618:2014 and IEC 62930:2017 and is rated for 1.5kV DC applications.

The twin-core construction provides a practical solution for solar installations, helping simplify cable routing between photovoltaic panels, string boxes and other PV system components. The cable is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation and can be installed as fixed, freely suspended or free-moving wiring.

Suitable for Solar PV Installations

PRYSUN H1Z2Z2-K TWIN 2×4mm² is suitable for residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural photovoltaic applications. It can be installed in cable trays, conduits, on walls and within walls, making it suitable for a variety of solar installation requirements. Prysmian also specifies the PRYSUN range for floating solar applications.

The cable uses Class 5 tinned copper conductors with halogen-free cross-linked insulation and sheath materials. The cable is designed for a maximum continuous conductor operating temperature of 90°C, with the applicable standards allowing elevated temperature operation under specified conditions.
