The Dektite DFE100BS is a compact solar roof flashing and seal flange designed for sealing pipes and cables passing through metal roofing and wall cladding. It features a flexible black EPDM rubber cone combined with a malleable aluminium flange that can be formed to suit the roof profile.
The DFE100BS accommodates penetrations from 0–35mm and has a 100 × 100mm square base. Dektite identifies the product as its Solar #0 flashing, making it particularly suitable for smaller pipe and cable penetrations commonly encountered in solar PV installations.
The square base is designed to suit most roof profiles, while the flexible aluminium flange allows the flashing to conform to the roofing surface. The black EPDM material is UV rated and designed for long-term outdoor exposure.
The DFE100BS is suitable for roof pitches of up to 45° and has a stated operating temperature range of approximately -50°C to 115°C. The product is also listed with a BAL 12.5 rating in current product specifications.
