4mm 2C+E TPS FLAT Cable

The 4mm 2C+E TPS FLAT Cable is a flat thermoplastic-sheathed electrical cable designed for fixed wiring applications in residential, commercial and industrial electrical installations. It features two insulated conductors plus an earth conductor, providing a practical solution for single-phase power circuits where 4mm² conductors are required.

The cable uses copper conductors with PVC insulation and an outer PVC sheath. Prysmian’s flat TPS range is manufactured with V-90 PVC insulation and 3V-90 PVC sheathing and is designed to AS/NZS 5000.2 requirements.

The flat construction makes the cable practical for fixed wiring installations where a neat and organised cable route is required. It can be used in suitable applications including power circuits and electrical equipment connections, subject to the requirements of the specific installation.

The 4mm² conductor size provides greater current-carrying capacity than smaller TPS cable sizes, making it suitable for applications where a larger conductor is required. Cable selection must always take into account installation method, ambient conditions, cable length, voltage drop, protection and applicable electrical requirements.

Typical 4mm 2C+E flat TPS cable is supplied with red, black and green/yellow conductors, with the green/yellow conductor used for protective earthing. Current NZ market listings identify 4mm 2C+E flat TPS as a 450/750V copper cable suitable for fixed wiring applications.

The cable is suitable for electricians, electrical contractors, builders and other qualified installers working on compatible electrical installations. Electrical installations must be carried out by an appropriately licensed electrical worker.
